To ensure that all participants understand the dress standards enforced on BYU campus, a description (including photos) of these dress standards are included in the pre-camp information packet to all camp participants. It is expected that all participants will abide by the BYU Honor Code including Dress and Grooming Standards.
Yes! Participants are welcome to bring a laptop or tablet, but computers will be provided. If you do choose to bring a laptop/tablet, BYU Continuing Education is not held responsible for it, even if it is lost, stolen, or damaged.
Between the hours of 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. mountain time, parents can leave a message at 801-422-7589 with John Best or Kelsy Brunst, who can quickly pass a message to any student in myFamily History Youth Camp. During evenings, parents who are unable to contact their on-campus students by their cell phone should first try to contact their students dorm counselor (Dorm counselor cell phone numbers will be sent to you when we get closer to camp) and if they cannot contact the dorm counselor, they may contact Kelsy Brunst at 480-202-2854.
There will be overnight parking for those participants who drive themselves to camp. If your student is using this option, please contact Kelsy Brunst at 801-422-7589 or firstname.lastname@example.org two weeks prior to camp to receive specific parking instructions.
